THESE ARE THE SKETCHING OF MY PROJECT 4 IN MY SKETCHBOOK.

The sketching were the draft for my Project 4, The Cubic-Less. In the draft, I had list out the materials to be used in my designs. I also sketched my initial idea and design concept as well as various type of the design can be used in my structure. 

THESE ARE THE END PRODUCTS OF MY PROJECT 4.

The design structure was draw inside 2 A2 size paper. Design statement was written in the middle of first A2, four elevations with the scale of 1:20 and initial idea were draw on it. Connections, joints and forms of retractable structure were arrange in second A2, there are various shape of the structure can be formed. Isometric view of the structure was draw at the corner with the scale of 1:15.

In Project 4, we are given a task to design a functional, small, retractable structure by a company that involved in producing gadgets and stuffs for outdoor activity enthusiasts. The lightweight, yet strong and reliable structure will be known as ‘the Cubic-less’. It can be used by a person as a basic shelter against rain and shine while on an adventure, a homeless, or for emergency relief use.

Through this project, I had learnt the 

       basic correct anthropometric and ergonomics principles in design production/development;

§        and ability (skills) to communicate initial ideas through creative graphic presentation consisting the conceptual and technical drawings with a retractable structure of 1800mm (L) x 900mm (W) x 1800mm (H).
